Team
Teri Hofmann, CPA, CA
Principal
Teri has been practicing as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) since 2009. She received her Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) from Memorial University in 2005. Her career started at a large firm in Toronto, where she took on a variety of different roles within the field while continuing to pursue her education.
Throughout her career, Teri has found herself drawn to the people side of the business. In 2010, she returned home to Newfoundland with the intent of shifting her focus toward smaller firms and more personal interactions.
She joined Clarified Professional Corporation in 2016 and, in 2020, became the sole owner of the firm. In 2021, Clarified Professional Corporation was renamed Beacon Accounting Professional Corporation.
With over 15 years of experience in public practice, Teri has long been a passionate advocate for her clients, tackling the full spectrum of accounting and tax issues on their behalf. No matter how big or small the client or the issue, she is committed to providing thoughtful and reliable guidance.
Oluwatobi (Tobi) Falegan
Staff Accountant
Tobi holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and a Postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Memorial University. He is an Associate Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and is currently a CPA candidate in Canada. He has experience in financial reporting, auditing, payroll systems, and accounting softwares.
Matthew Milley, CPA
Staff Accountant
Matthew is a Staff Accountant and CPA Candidate with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He assists with year-end engagements, audit engagements, personal and corporate tax compliance, and full-scale bookkeeping for a diverse client base.
As a CPA Candidate, Matthew is committed to strengthening his technical expertise while delivering accurate, detail-oriented service. He is actively advancing through the CPA program and staying current with accounting standards and tax legislation to provide reliable, practical solutions to clients.
Matthew values clear communication and building strong professional relationships. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and participating in sports.
